Leaflet published by the War Office, 21 May 1941.
Headings include 'Leadership', 'Training', and 'Administration'. Under the Leadership section states that 'officers will aim at a very high level of personal discipline, unselfishness and courage'. Under 'Administration', is the following, 'Since the efficiency of the women is increased by happiness and by healthy and pleasant surroundings, officers will pay special attention to all administrative details, ensuring cleanliness, repair or replacement of clothing, good
food, punctual and accurate payment, help and consideration in trouble'.
