Remembrance pin badge, British West Indies Regiment 1915-2015, 2015 (c)
The design of the badge includes a black poppy at the centre. Around the black poppy are the four flags of (clockwise): Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Bahamas, Belize, Grenada, Guyana, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla. The design is encircled within a black border with 'British West Indies Regiment' across the top and '1914-2015' across the bottom.
The black poppy is associated with the remembrance of the black, African and Caribbean contribution to warfare. This badge specifically commemorates the contribution of soldiers in the British West Indies Regiment during World War One (1914-1918).
