The wreckage of a German Pzkfw IV tank in the desert, North Africa, 1942

The Panzer IV was used in all theatres of combat throughout World War Two and was the only German tank to remain in continuous production throughout the conflict. This example was knocked out by tanks of 3rd County of London Yeomanry.
