'Flies Foul Food - Diarrhoea and Dysentery Follow', 1944 (c)

Colour lithograph, British Army anti-dysentery and diarrhoea medical information poster, after 2nd Lieutenant Stacey Hopper, published 1944 (c).

The poster warns of the dangers of leaving food uncovered for flies to contaminate. It was aimed, in particular, at troops on active service in Italy during World War Two (1943-1945).
