Meditech binary autoinjector, February 1991

An autoinjector is designed to deliver a single dose of a particular drug. During the Gulf War (1990-1991) they were carried by soldiers in case of possible contamination by chemical warfare agents. This example contains Benzylpenicillin sodium, a medicine used to combat certain types of bacterial infection.
