Primus stove used by William Morgan during his service in the Royal Garrison Artillery, 1916 (c)

The inscription on the srove states that William Morgan served with 77 Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery, between April 1916 and February 1918. At one point during World War One (1914-1918) Morgan and his belongings, including the stove, were buried by a shell explosion and had to be dug out by comrades.
