Postcard from Maude Emsley, Women's Army Auxiliary Corps, to her mother, France, May 1918
This postcard depicts the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps badge. It reads: 'My dear Mama, I am rather busy and haven't time to write a letter. I hope you like PC. I am quite safe and well and have got over my cold. It is hot here but I am enjoying it. Hope all at home are alright. Have you had a letter from Edwin yet. One was awaiting me here when I got back. It was dated March 8th. Best love to all from Maud'.
From a collection of papers of Maud Lilian Emsley, Women's Army Auxiliary Corps and Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps, 1917-1932.
