Indian and West African soldiers of Fourteenth Army cool down in a Burmese stream. The West African infantrymen on the right wears a 'slouch' hat and has a Short Magazine Lee Enfield Rifle (SMLE) slung over his shoulder.

From an album of 36 photographs compiled by Captain E B Mee (later Major), Royal Signals, 81st West African Division, Burma, 1944-1945.
