Shoulder title, other ranks, Royal Hussars (Prince of Wales's Own), 1991 (c)

Anodised aluminium, with the unit title, 'Royal Hussars', 1990 (c).

This armoured regiment was formed in 1969 by merging the 10th Hussars and the 11th Hussars, two regiments which were both formed in 1715. It existed until 1992 when the King's Royal Hussars was created as part of the 'Options for Change' reductions in the number of cavalry regiments.
