10th Gurkha Rifles moving ammunition, Burma, 1944

Havildar Dhan Singh, Lance Havildar Dhan Bahadur Gurung and Rifleman Lal Bahadur Rai line up in order to roll ammunition down a hill to their comrades of the 10th Gurkha Rifles. The regiment was heavily involved in the Burma campaign with the 1st, 3rd and 4th battalions all taking part. The 10th Gurkhas accumulated 19 battle honours during the campaign, the most gained by any unit that served in Burma.
