Captain, the Reverend Hubert (Hugh) Crane of the Royal Army Chaplains' Department. Crane, attached to the 3rd County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), was affectionally nicknamed, 'Lifting Tackle'. He served as Regimental Chaplain with the Sharpshooters in North Africa, Italy and North West Europe.
