The surrender of Khaziman, 11 March 1917

This work shows a patrol of the 14th (King's) Hussars in Mesopotamia (now Iraq), with the commanding officer Lieutenant-Colonel R W Hewitt DSO approaching a group of Turks to take their surrender following an engagement just to the north of Baghdad.
