William Francis Boucher Edwards, born 11 March 1880, served as a second lieutenant with the Bedfordshire Regiment and joined the Indian Army in 1901. He was promoted to the rank of Captain in 1908. Edwards was killed in action serving with the 24th Punjabis on 15 April 1915. His grave is registered by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission at the Basra War Cemetery in Iraq.
