A parade at Bovington in Dorset to mark the enhanced role of Armour Reinforcement Regiment assumed by the reservists of the Royal Wessex Yeomanry. As part of the restructuring of the Army, 'Army 2020', the regiment is tasked with providing fully trained Challenger 2 tank crews as part of the British Army's 3rd (United Kingdom) Division.

The Royal Wessex Yeomanry regiment, which recruits reservists from across the south-west of England, was also presented with a new unifying cap badge.
