Tenor Drum, half, 1st Battalion Prince of Wales's Leinster Regiment (Royal Canadians), 1902-1922 (c)

Wooden, manufactured by George Potter & Co. Aldershot, 1902 (c).

This drum was presented to Major Thomas Burton Newenham Deane on disbandment of the regiment in 1922. He was first commissioned into the Regiment in 1906 and served with the Regiment in France and Flanders during the First World War. Cut vertically, the drum has been converted into a display piece to be hung on a wall.
