Lantern slide, World War One, Salonika (1914-1918), 1917 (c).

The British-made Vickers machine gun was adopted by the Italian Army in 1911. Unlike British and Commonwealth models, which used .303 inch ammunition, the Italian variant fired 6.5 mm rounds.
