Bullet probe, 1939-1945 (c)

A type of blunt needle used to locate a bullet, piece of shrapnel or any other foreign objects imbedded under the skin. The needle eye in the end is for introducing a seaton, usually a piece of cloth thread or linen tape, to keep a blister open.
