Mess jacket, G M Malet, 11th Hussars (Prince Albert's Own), 1969

The 11th Hussars (Prince Albert's Own) fought in North Africa and North-West Europe during World War Two (1939-1945). Post-war service included deployments to Malaya, Northern Ireland, Aden, Kuwait and West Germany. In 1969 the Regiment amalgamated with the 10th Hussars to form the Royal Hussars (Prince of Wales's Own).
