Burial of a soldier in Somaliland, 1903 (c)

Sikh soldiers lower a dead soldier into a grave using guide ropes as British officers look on. To the left, troops from the Somaliland Camel Corps stand to attention while to the right a firing party of ten Sikhs in full dress uniform await the signal to fire a volley over the grave.
