Recruits to the 10th Battalion, 1st Punjab Regiment, undergo physical training at their camp. The class composition of the 1st Punjab Regiment was as follows: Punjabi Moslems, including Niazi and other Pathans of the Punjab, Hazarawalas of the North West Frontier, Moslems from Jammu and Kashmir State and Gilgit Agency, Sikhs from the Punjab, and Rajputs from Ambala, United Provinces, Rajputana, Central India and Bihar.
