'Temeraire', Chatby, Alexandria, Egypt, 1920
The 9th Hodson's Horse was deployed to the Middle East in 1918 and remained in the region until December 1920.
Later photographs show 'Temeraire' in India with Captain James Roney Keogh Murphy.

The 9th Hodson's Horse returned to India from the Middle East in December 1920. In 1921 the regiment amalgamated with the 10th Duke of Cambridge's Own Lancers (Hodson's Horse) and then became the 4th Duke of Cambridge's Own Hodson's Horse in 1922.
