Message bag or letter pouch bearing the seal of Maharao Mirzal, Raja of Cutch, 1819

This is one of five silk message bags, originally containing letters from Nasir Khan of Hyderabad and Rustum of Khairpur, inciting the Sikhs against the British and taken by Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Napier GCB, Punjab Army Staff, during the Sind Campaign of 1843.
