Other ranks black leather chapplis (sandals), 13th Frontier Force Rifles, 1937

The sepoys of this regiment were recruited from Punjabi Musalmans, Sikhs, Dogras and Pathans. In 1937, the regiment comprised five battalions, all of which were deployed on the North West Frontier at Kohat (two), Nowshera, Thal and Razmak, with the regimental centre at nearby Abbottabad.
