Two guidons, 1795-1796; First or King's Guidon; associated with 21st Light Dragoons; scarlet with buff design; Second or Regimental Guidon; associated with 31st Light Dragoons; buff with scarlet design; the term 'guidon' is a corruption of the old French 'guyd homme', the leader of a group of horsemen.
