Five sound cassettes: oral history interview with Mr Fergus Anckorn, 118 Field Regiment Royal Artillery; Anckorn was called up as a militiaman in 1939 and spent most of the first two years of the war as a conjuror with the 18th Division concert party; as a driver of a 25 pdr Quad he arrived in Singapore with 18th Division in 1942; as a prisoner of war he worked on the Burma-Siam railway and endured terrible privation.
