Shoulder title, Zhob Militia, 1889
White metal badge in the form of the unit title, 'Zhob'.
The Zhob Militia were formed by William Raikes-Hodson in 1852. Drawn from Pashtun, Baluch and Afghan soldiers, the unit served as a reconnaissance force for the Corps of Guides and Hodson's Horse.
The Zhob Militia survives as a paramilitary unit in Pakistan's Frontier Corps.
