Cap badge, East Bengal Regiment, post-Independence

White metal badge in the form of a Bengal tiger, with scroll with unit title, 'E. Bengal'.

The East Bengal Regiment was formed in February 1948 after Pakistan declared independence. Raised in East Pakistan the unit became the core of Bangladesh independence forces in 1971.
