Pouch badge, Allahabad Volunteer Rifles, 1871-1917

White metal badge in two parts, in the form of a bugle horn with knotted cord and an elaborate monogram.

The Allahabad Volunteer Rifles were formed in January 1871. The Allahabad Volunteer Rifle Corps became the Allahabad Light Troop Horse in September 1884, and the Allahabad Light Horse in 1890.
