Button, Cawnpore Rifles, 1920-1947
Small, brass, circular button with the initials, 'CR', within a wreath, surmounted by a King's Crown.
The Cawnpore Rifles was an auxiliary unit raised in in India in 1877 under the title the Cawnpore Volunteer Rifle Corps. Between 1917 and 1920 it was known as the 16th Cawnpore Rifles.
