Collar badge, Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway Volunteer Rifles, 1917-1926
Brass badge in the form of an eight-pointed rayed star surmounted by a crown, with an elaborate unit monogram, 'ORR', in the centre, with a scroll below, bearing the unit title, 'Auxiliary Force India'.
The Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway Volunteer Rifles was formed in 1903 by the amalgamation of the Oudh Rifle Volunteer Corps and the Rohilkhand Volunteer Rifle Corps. The unit was redesignated the 25th Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway Battalion in 1917. In 1920 the unit was redesignated again as the Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway Battalion within the new Auxiliary Force India. In 1926 the unit was amalgamated with the East Indian Railway Regiment.
