White metal badge, one of a pair, in the form of a bugle horn and a unit monogram, 'HVR', surmounted by a crown.
The Hyderabad Volunteer Rifle Corps was an auxiliary unit raised in July 1882. Renamed the 26 Hyderabad Rifles in 1917, the unit became the Hyderabad Rifles in October 1920.
