Tray, 'found in the tent of Sirdar Ayub on the 1st of September 1880 after the Battle of Kandahar'

By the time Major-General Frederick Roberts' troops reached Ayub Khan's camp it was deserted. This tray was acquired there by Lieutenant (later Colonel) The Honourable John Scott Napier, 92nd (Gordon Highlanders) Regiment of Foot.
