The Indian forces parading included elements of the 2nd Battalion, Royal Artillery, 9th Regiment of Bengal Cavalry, 1st Bombay Light Cavalry (Lancers), 13th Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry, 31st (Punjab) Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry, 2nd (Prince of Wales's Own) Gurkha Regiment (The Sirmoor Rifles), 25th Madras Native Infantry, 9th Regiment of Bombay Native Infantry, 26th Regiment of Bombay Native Infantry, 9th Regiment of Bombay Native Infantry and the 26th Regiment of Bombay Native Infantry.

They were joined by the Malta Garrison which consisted of the 42nd Highlanders, 71st (Highland) Regiment of Foot (Light Infantry), 98th (Prince of Wales's) Regiment of Foot, 101st Regiment of Foot (Royal Bengal Fusiliers), 1st (The Royal Scots) Regiment, 27th Regiment and the 61st (South Gloucestershire) Regiment of Foot.
